MLS offers the Supra System to its MLS
and Affiliate Home Inspector members. This patented
electronic system offers security and convenience and
records each Key that accesses a lockbox, as well as
the date and time of each access. This System also allows
companies to track their lockbox inventory.
The electronic Key is programmed to control the lockbox
access and operation. A keyholder may transmit listing
activity information from a lockbox to the central computer
via the Key. Once the lockbox information has been transmitted
from the lockbox to the central computer, the keyholder
can request reports on listing activity.

Reciprocal Key Access
RANW MLS has a reciprocal key agreement with Central MLS and South Central Wisconsin MLS (includes Associations/MLSs of Dodge County and Rock Green). REALTOR® members of the RANW MLS wanting to show properties in those areas need to call the RANW MLS office at 920-739-9108 or 1-800-817-7657 to request the reciprocal key access. Once Central or South Central has authorized access, the MLS member will be notified.
The RANW MLS rules still apply under the special reciprocal Key Agreements and use. To remind you of a few: You must set up a showing, you may not access the property without an appointment, and you may not share your key with any other member.
NON-RANW MEMBERS with a Supra Key:
How to get a Reciprocal Key to show RANW MLS Properties:
- Contact your primary board office. Central MLS and South Central Wisconsin MLS (includes Associations/MLSs of Dodge County and Rock Green) have reciprocal key agreements with the RANW MLS.

- Once a key agreement is submitted to RANW MLS by Central or South Central, we will be able to set up reciprocal access.
- Your primary board office will contact you when the key access is set up.
- You will have to perform an update to your eKEY app in order to sync your smart device to incorporate the change.
- You must set up a showing, you may not access the RANW MLS property without an appointment, and you may not share your key with any other member or non-member.
An eKEY allows your Smartphone to act as an
electronic Key to give you access to Supra lockboxes
placed on listed properties. The eKEY software keeps
track of the lockboxes it has opened throughout the
day. At the end of the day the software expires and
must be updated through a connection to the Supra network.
(Internet must be accessible for an update to occur - if a red X appears over the update key, a network connection is not available.) During the connection, showing data stored in the Smartphone
is sent to the network, the Key is updated and messages
received. Once the daily update has occurred, you do not need to have cell coverage to open a lockbox. Lost / Stolen / Damaged Lockboxes:
The MLS leases the use of the boxes to MLS participating
companies at no additional cost. If a lockbox is lost,
stolen or damaged, the company will be invoiced $99.00 +

Audit of Lockboxes: An audit of lockboxes is
done annually with all participating MLS companies.
The MLS reserves the right at any time to request the
return of any excess boxes in a participating company’s
inventory based on inventory of the company’s
current active/pending/contingent listings (120% for
residential and 100% for duplex and multi family properties).
Ongoing tracking of your company’s lockbox inventory
will prove most helpful at audit time.
