Submit A Photo

Submission of at least one photo for each Residential, Condominium, Multi-Family, and Business/Commercial property listing is required within 24 hours of listing submission to MLS. If below-grade finished square footage is reported for Residential, Condominium, or Multi-Family listings, at least one additional photo of the below-grade finished area is also required. You may submit up to 60 total property photos for each listing. Listing photos are not required for Vacant Land listings.

MLS Photos:
Using Paragon's Photo Upload feature (under Listings > Maintain Listing) is the preferred method of listing photo submission and is the fastest method of inserting your photo into MLS.
Please Note:
The required main property photo shall be of the exterior of the main structure of the property. If below-grade finished area is reported for Residential, Condominium, or Multi-Family listings, at least one additional photo of the below-grade finished area is also required.
Listing Photos must be of the property listed in MLS.
Members should not copy another person's listing photos and upload them to their own listing. Members who copy and post another person's image(s) may be violating copyright laws and MLS rules.
There should be nothing on the photo of the property except the property itself. Superimposed names, URLs, email addresses, company signs/logos, or images that say "No Photo Available" are not acceptable. Exception: "Photo Similar to Listing" or equivalent text may be included on an image when no photo of the actual listing is available. Unacceptable photos will be removed from the MLS; listings may then appear on the No Photo Report with a late photo fee attached.
Photos must be scanned for viruses before submission.
Photos should have a minimum 1024x768 size and scale; multiple photo file types are supported, file size should be kept under 8Mb. Photos will be scaled down to fit the photo area on any display that shows photos. This may result in letterboxing of the photo, depending on the size and scale of the image and the photo area dimensions.
The required main property photo shall be of the exterior of the property. If below-grade finished area is reported for Residential, Condominium, or Multi-Family listings, at least one additional photo of the below-grade finished area is also required.
Members may submit up to 60 total property photos for each listing. The photo slideshow will show all available photos for any listing.
Members should review the listing after uploading listing photo(s) to ensure photos have uploaded correctly. The photo slideshow display will show all available photos for any listing.
The REALTOR.com website accepts data and property photos from MLS. Virtual tours and additional property photos do not automatically appear on REALTOR.com at this time.
WIREX accepts all photos submitted for each listing.
IDX company websites are sent all property photos and virtual tours as submitted to MLS.; websites may or may not choose to display all photos or tours.

Agent Photo:

Within the Paragon program, there are three different places where Agent Photos can be uploaded - to appear on displays/reports/spec sheets, to the Email Signature, and to the Collab Center. Each photo placeholder is slightly different in size.

When uploading the agent photo initially (under Preferences), the following apply:
1. 1280 X 960 Max resolution - system will compress higher resolution photos
2. JPG, PNG & GIF file types allowed - will be converted to JPG once uploaded
3. Special Characters (& , * , / , etc.) cannot be used in the file name.
4. There are no dimension requirements i.e. the photo can be rectangular or square.

The agent photos on the report views will pull from the photo uploaded to the user's preferences. The default agent image dimensions on a report are 150 x 115 (rectangular), though those dimensions are customizable. For example, the Customer Full report currently has the agent image size set to 92 x 92 (square) and the Customer MLS View has the agent image size set to 147 x 112 (rectangular). The agent image will scale to fit the image size set on each report and will be limited by the larger dimension -- i.e the photo will be scaled down to fit and will not "stretch" to fit.

When setting up an email signature, the default agent photo size inserted is 105 x 117 (mostly square). The dimensions are customizable and can be edited, and the photo should scale to fit (and not stretch). The photo in the email signature can be customized by the user, and doesn't necessarily have to be the image from their Preferences.

On Collab Center, the image is stretched to fit the 100 x 100 image box, which can cause distortion on a rectangular image. The Collab Center image pulls from the user's Collab Center Preferences > About Me. Collab Center is the only location where the image proportions are absolute and can't currently be changed, so if an agent wants to have a single agent photo that works in all locations they will want to go with a photo that is more square than rectangular.

Photographic Virtual Tours of MLS Properties:
Paragon has the capability of handling multiple types of photographic virtual tours. A link to the tour will appear on the Agent Confidential and Customer Full displays in Paragon and, for participating MLS IDX properties, will also appear in IDX search results.

Virtual tour IDs can be added to listings through Listings > Maintain Listing. When the Virtual Tour Update utility is used, tours will appear immediately on the Agent Confidential and Customer Full displays.

There can be nothing on the Virtual Tour of the property except the property itself. Contact information ("branding") such as the listing agent or listing company name, URL, email address, telephone number, agent photo or company sign/logo (in the tour itself or available by link), is not acceptable and will result in the tour being removed from the MLS.

The Tour ID is the HTML page assigned when you purchase your tour.
Virtual tours appear in Paragon on the Agent Confidential and Customer Full displays.
The REALTOR.com website accepts data and four property photos from MLS. Virtual tours and additional property photos do not automatically appear on REALTOR.com at this time.
IDX websites are sent all property photos and virtual tours as submitted to MLS.; websites may or may not choose to display all photos or tours.
