Welcome to the REALTORS® Association of
Northeast Wisconsin MLS!
The MLS is a service of the REALTORS® Association
of Northeast Wisconsin, offering Brokers and Appraisers the largest
database listing of properties for sale and sold in northeast Wisconsin.
The MLS is a cooperative business offering that enables a REALTOR®
participating in the MLS to help people buy or sell property more
effectively through the increased marketing exposure that the MLS
provides.
Participating Brokers cooperate with other Participants,
acting either through subagency or buyer agency as defined by Wisconsin
law, to facilitate the sale of property listed with their company.
Entitlement to compensation offered through MLS is determined by
the cooperating broker's performance as procuring cause of the sale.
MLS is also a means by which information is accumulated and disseminated
to enable authorized Participants to prepare appraisals and other
valuations of real property and by which participants engaging in
Real Estate Appraisal contribute to common databases.
The MLS serves as a property data repository for
more than 400 companies and carries approximately 16,000 active
properties on the MLS computer system at any given time. The system
also maintains off-market information for comparable purposes, as
well as a history of properties for a minimum of 5 years through
an extensive network of data.
The Northeast Wisconsin MLS serves over 2100 agents
in a jurisdictional area which includes the counties of Adams, Brown,
Calumet, Door, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Kewaunee, Lincoln, Manitowoc,
Marathon, Marinette, Marquette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Portage,
Shawano, Sheboygan, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago and Wood.
